Weapons and Ammunition Act

Weapons possession – sometimes without a permit – is criminalized under the Weapons and Ammunition Act. When we talk about weapons, it’s not just firearms but also includes knives, stun guns, and pepper spray. Possessing a fake weapon is also illegal in the Netherlands under the Weapons and Ammunition Act. Furthermore, trading in weapons is prohibited under the same law.

Ms. Noordanus is knowledgeable about the criminal provisions of the Weapons and Ammunition Act, enabling her to provide you with proper legal representation in court if needed. Additionally, if you believe that what you had in your possession was not a weapon or if it was wrongfully seized for some reason, Ms. Noordanus can assist by filing a request for return.
